Job summary

A construction and engineering company is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Johor Bahru to ensure project deliverables exceed stakeholder expectations. You will coordinate with main contractors and subcontractors, manage budgets, and facilitate approvals for project documentation. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field, at least 3 years of experience in project management within the Pipeline industry, and proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project and CAD drawings.

• Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and quality requirements.

Job description

Ensure all project deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and exceed stakeholder expectations.

Estimating the cost of the project, ensuring financial resources are allocated for materials, labor, and equipment.

Providing regular progress updates and forecast claims reporting to senior management.

Coordinate with main contractor, subcontractors, consultants, internal teams and other trades to schedule plumbing work and ensure smooth workflow, resolve conflicts and site issues.

Site work done verification with Main Con.

Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and labor usage.

Track, coordinate and facilitate responses to RFIs, project needs.

Manage coordination of approvals for shop drawings, model reviews, vendor documents approvals, etc.

Conduct project coordination meetings with all stakeholders.

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Pipeline or engineering industry.

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage detailed project plans and budgets.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.

Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to identify and resolve issues quickly.

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, safety standards and quality requirements.

Proficient in the use of project management software and tools.

Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferably knowledgeable in PIPELINE.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, CAD drawings.
