Project Manager, Mechanical & Electronic Engineering
The Project Manager – MEP is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering MEP projects within scope, schedule, and budget. The role requires strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, project coordination, vendor management, and leadership to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end‑to‑end MEP project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking.
- Review MEP drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs; ensure adherence to project scope and standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, architects, clients, subcontractors, and site teams for smooth project delivery.
- Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, ELV).
- Prepare project progress reports, MIS, and presentation updates for senior management and clients.
- Ensure timely procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and services as per approved specs.
- Manage cost control, work variations, billing, and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, productivity, and safety compliance.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective action plans.
- Lead project meetings, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and resolve technical/site issues promptly.
- Ensure all statutory, safety, and quality standards are followed at every stage of the project.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, installation methods, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project planning, scheduling, and execution skills.
- Strong leadership, decision‑making, and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.) and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7–12 years of experience in MEP project management, preferably in large‑scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects.
- Experience handling site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Will be permanently based in India Branch (Sohna Site).
