Company Overview
We are a medical injection moulding manufacturer supplying high‑precision plastic components to global medical device companies. In line with business expansion, we are currently looking for a Project Manager to manage new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes, and cross‑functional project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from quotation through mass production
- Support Business Development (BD) and management teams to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) revenue targets
- Act as the primary interface between customers and internal teams for project timelines, deliverables, and technical requirements
- Manage and coordinate new programs, tooling development, and Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
- Plan, lead, and track mold trials, pilot builds, and NPI production runs, ensuring issues are resolved systematically
- Prepare, review, and consolidate PPAP and First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation for customer approval
- Ensure BOM accuracy and proper ECN implementation in the ERP system
- Improve customer forecast accuracy and ensure Purchase Order (PO) coverage within agreed lead times
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain) to ensure On‑Time Delivery (OTD)
- Minimize excess and aging inventory through effective planning and execution
- Support prompt payment collection by ensuring project milestones and deliveries are met
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in injection moulding and tooling, preferably within the medical manufacturing industry
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Injection moulding processes and machines
- Tooling design, mold trials, and process troubleshooting
- Mechanical drawings, CAD/CAM, BOM, and ERP systems
- Hands‑on experience with mold changes, machine setup, and tool trials
- Well‑versed in quality and project management tools:
- APQP, FMEA, Control Plan (CP), PPAP, FAI, Cp/Cpk, 4M
- Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills
