Project Manager (Engineering & System Implementation)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end engineering and system implementation projects.

This role requires strong planning, coordination, communication, and leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to technical requirements.

You will work closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, clients, and management to coordinate project schedules, risk assessments, resources, quality control, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full project lifecycle from initiation to commissioning.
• Plan project schedules, resources, manpower allocation, and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning).
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and external service providers.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet technical, safety, and quality standards.
• Conduct project progress meetings and prepare regular status reports.
• Track project risks, issues, and changes; implement mitigation actions.
• Handle client communication, requirement alignment, and expectation management.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover to customer.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in engineering, automation, M&E, construction, or IT system implementation.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Familiar with risk management and quality control processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, or other project planning tools.
• Able to travel to project sites when required.

Added Advantages

• PMP, PRINCE2, or any project management certification.
• Experience in:
  • Automation or building systems
  • ERP/MES/BMS/IoT deployment
  • Construction or M&E coordination
  • Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001 / ISO 27001 / ISO 50001).
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
