Job Description
Project Manager will be the central point of contact across all departments, including creative, design, animation production, marketing and other key business functions. This role is responsible for driving the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, creative vision, and delivery timelines.
Project Manager plays a pivotal role in facilitating clear, consistent communication among cross‑functional teams and stakeholders, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within scope.
A Project Manager should be able to work independently while adjusting and adapting management styles and techniques to the uniqueness of each project is essential to success in this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and direction of projects, ensuring alignment with client’s requirement and organizational goals.
- Demonstrate a high level of ownership, accountability, and decision-making to drive project success.
- Build a strong understanding of team members' strengths, weaknesses, and areas of expertise. Foster close relationships with key project stakeholders and decision-makers to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Proactively prepare, track and analyze all the project documentation/ information including project briefs, timelines, and status reports, to ensure accurate and timely communication of project risks, opportunities, and milestones.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring that timelines, resources, objectives and work quality are aligned.
- Develop a comprehensive project schedule and make necessary adjustments if and when problems arise. Ensure the efficient allocation of resources to meet project deadlines.
- Provide guidance to other project management team members, offering coaching on best practices for achieving project goals and ensuring the team's professional development.
- Motivates others and builds enthusiasm for a project by keeping focused on its main objectives and the rewards for completion.
- Keeps upper management in the loop by preparing project updates and presentations that showcase a project's value and status. Generally, are in tracking and reporting project progress and results.
- Stays familiar with the company's policies and goals and works to make sure that all members of a project team adhere to set standards.
- Resolving any budget queries that are raised, including timely communication if extra budget/resources is needed to optimize project costs and maximize profitability.
- Conduct performance reviews for team members and collaborate with supervisors and leads to set and monitor individual goals and development plans.
- Support Supervisors and Art Directors in the Quality Assurance process to ensure that all project deliverables meet client expectations.
- Stay informed about the latest leadership techniques, industry trends, and best practices through educational opportunities and professional publications.
- To cooperate with the production team on delivering the feedback(s) & documented translation correctly.
- Facilitating meeting(s) and ensure smooth communication between client(s) and the company.
- To perform other duties as and when assigned and necessary.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years working experience (holding managerial position in gaming/animation industry).
- Strong understanding of production methodologies and best practices within the game/animation industries. Specific experience with game production pipelines, animation production workflows, and managing cross‑functional teams involved in design, 2D/3D art, and animation. Familiarity with agile methodologies, as well as traditional production processes used in game and animation creation, is essential.
