A logistics management company is looking for a Project Logistics Executive to oversee project coordination across Penang. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Degree and 3-4 years of experience in logistics or project management, with strong skills in communication, analysis, and quality control. Responsibilities include liaising with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and exploring operational improvements. Experience in the Ready-mixed concrete industry is a plus.
The Project Logistics Executive will be responsible to coordinate all projects across Penang. He is tasked to collaborate with all internal stakeholders including supervisor & maintenance team and customers, to successfully plan and lead all projects execution, supports, and ensure smooth operations at all aspects. Costs control is a must.
Diploma/Degree in a recognized institution.
At least 3-4 years of experiences in the logistics/project management background.
Understands the impact of decisions and actions on business and consults colleagues and management as and when required.
Strong quality mindset, with end in mind, taking compliance and quality as non-negotiable.
Strong oral communication and analytical skills to drive compliance to SOPS for all internal stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.
Experienced in Ready-mixed concrete industry will be an added advantage.
Be the focal point of contact for internal & external stakeholders for strategic planning, project execution alignment and escalation.
Actively support, position the company services and grow the footprint on project management through active involvement in project coordination.
Ensure SOPs of the company is strictly adhered to by internal stakeholders and compliance to customers' SOPs are also followed.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders leading the project throughout the project period to understand, implement solutions, close gaps and drive for improvements.
Explore commercial and operational improvement initiatives.
Be onsite at the customer's facility to supervise/oversee supervisors and discharge operation where necessary.
Lead and conduct service reviews strengthening relationships and partnerships with the customer.
Take on additional assignments as required supporting the company's needs.
