The Project Engineer / Site Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of landscape works. This position involves site supervision, progress monitoring, coordination with stakeholders, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and specifications.
Assist the Project Manager in the overall planning, implementation, and coordination of project sites.
Carry out setting out works and coordinate closely with main contractors, clients, consultants, subcontractors, architect.
Work closely with the in‑house draughtsperson to review, coordinate, and implement shop drawings.
Prepare and submit progress reports, construction schedules, and site documentation.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, quality, safety, and progress.
Attend site meetings and follow up on instructions and action items.
Proactively manage site activities to meet project quality, timeline, cost, and safety objectives.
Monitor site progress and resolve technical or coordination issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of project performance, including site logs, photos, reports, and documentation.
Coordinate and supervise site activities and subcontractor works.
Provide technical guidance and on‑site support when required.
Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
Track project schedules and identify potential delays or risks.
Assist in monitoring productivity, variation works, claims, and progress payment applications.
Report any issues affecting quality, budget, progress, or safety to management in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively (English & Bahasa Malaysia) with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical and contractual matters.
Chinese language proficiency is an added advantage.
Maintain professional and constructive working relationships to ensure smooth project implementation.
Possess a basic understanding of construction materials, softscape and hardscape works.
Ensure workmanship aligns with industry standards and project specifications.
