Job summary

A construction and engineering firm is seeking a project engineer to manage site progress and coordinate with clients and contractors. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in engineering and experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is essential. Responsibilities include preparing documentation, ensuring project quality and safety, and assisting in project claims. This is a contract position for 12 months, located in Malaysia, Malacca City and demands strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Possess a relevant engineering degree.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor project programs using Microsoft Project / Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Prepare necessary project documentation including drawings and reports.
• Manage site safety and project quality.
• Assist in project claims and report submissions.
