Qualifications

Convergint is looking for an enthusiastic, results-driven, and customer service-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. A Project Engineer is responsible for security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s standards to ensure excellent project quality and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct security equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming according to Convergint’s standards
  • Participate in project management
  • Assist and provide technical support to sales and other departments
  • Carry out system troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Conduct on-site client training
  • Develop in-depth system design and drawings using AutoCAD
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in security systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in security and/or electronic system project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, networks, and databases
  • Familiarity with security access control, video surveillance, and alarm system products and systems is an advantage
  • Willing to work on-site
  • Project management experience is an advantage
  • Past experience with Lenel, Cisco, and S2 systems is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
