The Project Engineer acts as a liaison between departments, vendors, and clients to streamline communication, address issues, and ensure smooth project implementation.

Responsibilities
- Ensure project activities align with the company’s strategic Facilities Management goals.
- Work closely with senior management to understand organizational priorities and incorporate them into project planning.
- Implement industry best practices and standardized procedures in project execution.
- Maintain consistent documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address discrepancies.
- Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teams to implement preventive measures to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain a risk log and conduct regular risk assessments to ensure proactive issue resolution.
- Analyze current project execution processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Propose and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
- Support innovation and automation initiatives to streamline workflows.
- Track and coordinate multiple Facilities Management projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Utilize project management tools to monitor progress, allocate resources effectively, and generate reports.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate clear and transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all parties are aligned.
- Organize and lead meetings, prepare presentations, and provide status reports.
- Prepare, review, and maintain all necessary project documentation, including procedures, manuals, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Establish a centralized system for document storage and retrieval.
- Work closely with contractors and service providers to ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
- Conduct performance evaluations of vendors and contractors to ensure service quality.
- Address any issues related to vendor performance and negotiate contract terms as needed.
- Assist the Project Manager in compiling comprehensive reports on project performance, timelines, and budget adherence.
- Analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Make recommendations based on data insights to optimize future projects.
- Oversee project-related procurement activities, ensuring that all purchases comply with company policies and vendor agreements.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely acquisition of materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient use of resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or equivalent field
- Minimum 5 years of Engineering or Facilities Management or a related industrial environment
- Proficient in Autocad, Excel, exposure with Microsoft Project and familiarize with Computerize Facilities & Maintenance System.
- Advanced skills in negotiation, communication, and analytical thinking.
- Excellent command of English (written, spoken, and comprehension).
- Ability to coordinate complex projects, liaise with internal teams and external contractors, and ensure project milestones are met.
- Experience in data driven work analytics, work planning and construction standards.
