Job description
Overview

Undertake various functions related to document control, document archiving, document imaging and maintenance of document register for Construction Projects and/or Detail Engineering Projects.

Role holder would be under minimum supervision of his superior.

Responsibilities
  • Controls issuance of document numbers, including maintenance of proper document registers for any receipts detail engineering or construction engineering project.
  • Maintains specifically assigned project database/s.
  • Ensures proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving.
  • Reviews completeness of documentation and prepares document transmittals.
  • Performs file backup to ensure proper storage and archiving of electronic registers.
  • Performs daily purchasing/ procurement activities (RFQ, PO, DO, invoicing, salaries, claims, recommend payment & reports).
  • Tender exercise coordination including registration, submission, comparison, follow-up, interview & related documentation.
  • Assists to verify contractor work done at site, supplier delivery to site.
  • Assists in coordinating the construction of various M&E components on-site and monitoring / supervising the implementation of work.
  • Liaison with consultants, main contractors, in-house contractors, NSC contractors, suppliers, authorities and etc.
  • Any ad hoc assignment assigned by the HOD or Company from time to time.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architectural, Engineering, Quantity Surveyor, Building Management or a related field.
  • Required skills: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Google Calendar, Google Drive, CAD viewer.
  • Language proficiency: Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in development or construction of housing projects.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Must possess own transport and be computer literate.
