A leading food manufacturer in Malaysia is seeking Production Supervisors and Team Leaders to oversee daily production activities. Candidates should have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing and possess a SPM or Diploma in relevant fields. This role involves ensuring compliance with food safety standards and managing production personnel to meet efficiency and quality targets. Supervise and lead daily production activities to achieve output, quality and efficiency targets.
Coordinate with related parties to ensure production schedules meet customers demands and optimize resources.
Close supervision of production process to ensure minimum downtime, perform basic maintenance checks and assist in minor trouble shootings of production equipment.
Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, ISO and company policies at all times.
Monitor production lines, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and wastage.
Plan, assign and manage manpower to meet production schedules effectively.
Train, coach and motivate production operators to maintain high performance standards.
Conduct daily production meetings and prepare reports on output, efficiency, and material usage.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety rules and practices.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Support new product trials and ensure proper execution of production procedures.
Supervise production line and operators in compliance with GMP, Halal, HACCP & ISO.
Ensure hygiene, food safety and quality standards are strictly followed.
Monitor production output, attendance and discipline.
Report production issues and support audits and continuous improvement.
Candidate must possess at least a SPM / Diploma in Engineering / Food Chemistry / Manufacturing and has work experience in food related industry.
Preferably candidates with supervisor experience in Food Manufacturing for more than 3 years.
At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in food manufacturing with knowledge in production QMS / HACCP / ISO / Halal.
Strong leadership, drive for results, detail oriented and problem-solving skills are essential.
Computer literate (Microsoft application) and good understanding of production system.
3–4 positions for various production lines.
