Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our manufacturing team at Ghee Hiang Manufacturing Co. Sdn. Bhd. in Jelutong Penang. This full-time position will play a crucial role in our production operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Start, run, and warm-up the expeller machine before the first roast and ensure the expeller machine is functioning daily.
• Start and run the conveyor cooling system for oil residue.
• Weigh the quantity of unfiltered oil and record the unfiltered oil tank number.
• Receive, store and deliver items according to the set standard procedures.
• Ensure the unfiltered oil tank cover is properly secured.
• Maintain the expeller machine in good repair and ensure it is in good running condition.
• After expelling, perform the cleaning and sanitizing procedure and ensure that rubbish and rejected items are disposed of properly.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and sanitary handling of all items related to food and follow all procedures accordingly.
• Perform other duties as and when instructed by your supervisor.
• Perform other duties stipulated per ISO22000:2018 requirements.
