Job description

The company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Production Executive to join our dynamic team in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan. This full-time position is a pivotal role within our manufacturing operations, responsible for ensuring efficient and effective production processes to support the company's growth objectives.

What you'll be doing

Oversee and coordinate all production activities to meet manufacturing targets and delivery schedules

Develop and implement production plans, including resource allocation, workflow optimisation, and quality control measures

Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions

Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless operations

Provide leadership and mentorship to the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Identify & monitor production employee skills / knowledge. Conduct training in concert with Management accordingly to fill skill / knowledge gaps.

Conduct evaluations of production employees as and when required.

Ensure each production section is providing timely and accurate reports on their activities on a daily basis. Collect and communicate the reports to management for records and analysis.

Identify and resolve production issues, such as product quality issues, machine breakdowns or process bottlenecks.

Identify, develop and implement strategies to improve & maintain product quality, manufacturing processes, minimize machine breakdowns and improve productivity.

Assist management in ensuring all planned production activities are properly planned & executed. Escalate any deviations that cannot be solved locally.

Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist management is identifying & resolving safety issues accordingly. Enforce safe work methods are adhered to at each production section.

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar production or operations management role within the manufacturing industry. Preferably from a non-woven textile manufacturing background; but this is not a pre-requisite.

Proven track record in production planning, scheduling, and process optimisation.

Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficient in the use of production management software and data analysis tools

Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field

Professional & Multilingual Workforce – Fluent in Mandarin
