Production Manager (Manufacturing Industry)

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met with efficiency, quality, and compliance. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Control

Develop and implement production schedules aligned with demand forecasts.

Monitor workflow to ensure timely delivery of products.

Optimize resource allocation (manpower, machinery, materials).

Operational Excellence

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Supervise, train, and motivate production staff.

Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans.

Foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Quality Assurance

Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain product standards.

Investigate and resolve production issues or defects.

Implement corrective and preventive actions.
