Job summary

A manufacturing company in Selangor seeks a Production Line Supervisor to oversee the production process ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a relevant diploma and at least 3 years of experience in a production line environment, particularly in home appliances. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. This role will also focus on process improvement and quality control following ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma or equivalent.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production line.

Job description

Why this job exist and why is it critical?

A Production Line Supervisor plays an integral part of the production process in supervising the process to ensure quality control and an efficient work process following the ISO 9001 standards. Be part of our 3P's; People, Process and Product experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Knowledge on operation of machines and hands on supervision for workers in production line
• Ensure all products are manufactured with utmost efficiency and quality by analysing existing test methods
• Generating production documentation such as working instruction for reduce variability in manufacturing
• Ensure product and process quality meets specifications required according to ISO 9001
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analysing and planning work flow, space and equipment layout.
• Plan and organise maintainance for machines, respond to breakdowns, report down time and possible trends
• Provide technical support on product issues
• Setting up plastic injection mould
• Support and lead continuous improvement, problem solving and process improvement activities
• Investigate production and process issues providing technical support and training
• Quality control of work by approapriate reviews
• Support and lead process improvement activities
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field preferably in production line for home appliances is required for this position.
• Experience related with plastic injection moulding will be an added advantage.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Seksyen 32, Shah Alam.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
