Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and supervise all food preparation and production activities to ensure operations are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established quality standards.
  2. Ensure all kitchen and production operations strictly adhere to established SOPs related to food safety, hygiene, and quality control. Conduct regular reviews, internal audits, and updates of SOPs to ensure continuous compliance and operational effectiveness.
  3. Inspect and verify the quality, freshness, and compliance of all incoming raw materials against company specifications and food safety requirements.
  4. Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff and production line personnel. Ensure all team members fully understand and comply with SOPs, safety regulations, and hygiene practices. Monitor performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  5. Implement and oversee quality control procedures, including visual inspection, taste testing, and final product evaluation prior to packing and distribution. Ensure all finished products consistently meet company standards for taste, appearance, consistency, and safety.
  6. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety across all production areas. Ensure full compliance with applicable food safety systems and certifications, including HACCP, ISO, FSSC, Halal, and MeSTI. Prepare documentation and support internal and external audits as required.
  7. Oversee daily cleaning and sanitation of all kitchen equipment, utensils, work surfaces, and production areas to prevent contamination. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and reported for repair when necessary.
  8. Continuously identify opportunities to improve production processes, enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen adherence to SOPs while maintaining consistent product quality and food safety standards.
  9. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
