Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology /Food Science, Chemistry, BioTechnology;
  • Preferably candidate with more than 2 years’ experience in Food Manufacturing
  • Familiar on compliance of food safety standard such as ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, GMP and ISO
  • Quality management systems and other food-related regulations requirements is beneficial.
  • Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Target oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills
  • Experience with statistical process control and quality management systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full scope of R&D works related to existing product expansion as well as new product development.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of R&D practices and compliance to company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and food safety standards.
  • To improve and revise existing product formulations and processes if necessary to optimize productivity and cost.
  • In charge in sourcing and procurement of materials for product testing and development.
  • To carry out R&D projects such as formulation, sample preparation and sensory evaluation that comply with food regulation.
  • Labelling related to food safety (Nutrition, Ingredients listing, Allergen Statement, Dosage of Consumption etc.)
  • Registration, Statutory and Regulatory Study Product Registration – liaise with MOH
  • Prepare documents such as formula, label, and evaluation reports
  • To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time
