Job description
Overview
  • Define product vision and strategy based on user needs, competitor analysis, and technology trends.
  • Articulate the product vision and strategy to key stakeholders to gain buy‑in.
  • Conduct market and user research to define user requirements, stories, journeys, process flows, etc.
  • Translate product strategy into an actionable product roadmap, prioritizing impact and value while balancing cost, time, and technology limitations.
  • Prepare detailed project budgets and timelines and obtain stakeholder buy‑in.
  • Manage product roadmaps, change requests, and backlogs.
  • Partner closely with the technical team to coordinate project resources, manage dependencies and integration requirements, and resolve project issues to ensure continuous feature delivery on time, within quality standards, and budget.
  • Develop and coordinate user acceptance testing processes, defining test and go/no‑go criteria for feature release.
  • Provide regular update reports on project status, analyses, risk, and issues.
  • Develop and implement effective communication and change management plans, including marketing to, educating, and training end‑users to improve adoption and satisfaction.
  • Define product success metrics and implement data‑driven monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure constant product iteration and improvements.
  • Build post‑release application support capabilities where required.
  • Define and implement processes and systems as required, including maintaining comprehensive projects and policy documentation to sustain product development and management sustainably and with accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with other product/project managers to align digital products with other digital initiatives in service of the overall digital transformation ambitions.
  • Support product commercialization initiatives, including business planning, product costing, and developing go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Work on talent acquisition and talent management initiatives to build up a team as may be required to support the above responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management or a similar role.
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
  • Hands‑on experience with project/document management tools such as Jira, Service Now, SharePoint, ClickUp.
  • Hands‑on experience with UI/UX design/wireframing tools (e.g. Firma, InVision, Marvel).
  • Practical knowledge of technical and data architecture, with the ability to articulate potential impact to product design.
  • Solid knowledge of core business processes (e.g. sales, supply chain management, and finance).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with demonstrable ability to reason logically and structuredly.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Adaptable to change and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to operate under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
