Job summary

A leading electrical and electronics company located in Malaysia seeks a Product Manager to oversee product availability, monitor inventory levels, and ensure compliance with local regulations. The ideal candidate will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations, leveraging insights to drive product innovation. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Manage PSI and maintain close communication with Sales, Supply Chain, and factory teams to ensure product availability.
  • Monitor product inventory levels and prepare timely replenishment proposals.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to ensure effective delivery, support, and alignment for all products.
  • Analyze and ensure compliance with local product regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise with licensors such as SIRIM and the Energy Commission, and coordinate audits and market conduct examination.
  • Leverage market insights to identify customer needs and regulatory trends for sustainable product innovation.
  • Develop and execute product launch plans in partnership with factories and relevant teams.
  • Provide product-related input for marketing materials, including manuals, catalogues, websites, and white papers.
  • Support supply forecasting and Product Life Cycle Management, ensuring alignment with product strategies.
  • Assist in resolving daily product-related issues and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to support continuous improvement and sales initiatives.
