A dynamic tech company in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Product Designer (UI/UX) to enhance customer engagement through innovative design solutions. The role involves close collaboration with the Product Manager to prioritize user journeys, develop prototypes, and optimize interactions for better user experience. Candidates should have 5-8 years of experience in product design, a strong portfolio, and familiarity with design tools like Figma. The Product Designer (UI/UX) is one who is a strong believer of customer experience principle in product design. He/she will be a creative thinker agile, intuitive, and can bring ideas to life. The role is to help shape features, optimize user journeys, and design experiences that strengthen our customer engagement and proposition.
Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to define features, shape ideas, and prioritize robust customer journey and user experience from concept to launch.
Turn ideas into wireframes, prototypes, and live experiences that solve real customer needs.
Optimise user journeys — simplifying flows, reducing friction, and making interactions effortless.
Bring concepts to life quickly through sketches, clickable prototypes, and design experiments.
Identify opportunities to improve engagement and retention, using insights from customer behaviour and competitor benchmarks.
Contribute to idea generation by drawing inspiration from industry trends and competitor analysis, applying them in ways that fit Swap Asia’s unique value.
Ability to translate industry best practice and in-house user data into actionable insight with strong presentation skills.
Degree in Design, Graphic Design, IT, engineering or any related field.
5 to 8 years’ experience in product design or UX/UI.
A portfolio showing your design work (apps, websites, or digital products).
Quick, intuitive problem-solving skills with a bias for action.
Strong collaboration and communication — especially with Product Managers and Dev teams.
Curiosity, adaptability, and a drive to make products better every day.
Familiarity with tools like Figma; basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
