Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent required, proficiency in Mandarin for communication with counterparts from China.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience, ideally in property.
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor sourcing knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake procurement activities for the team.
  • Liaise with local/overseas suppliers and handle enquiries.
  • Negotiate pricing and specifications with suppliers.
  • Issue Purchase Orders and monitor project compliance.
  • Report on project progress and take actions as needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for undertaking procurement activities for the team.
  • Liaise with local/overseas suppliers on enquiries.
  • Review pricing and specifications from various suppliers to determine the best deal.
  • Arrange samples from suppliers while maintaining a strong working relationship.
  • Participate in negotiation of the best deal in pricing with suppliers.
  • Issue Purchase Orders to Supplier.
  • Monitor projects closely to ensure conformity to specifications, quality, budgets and delivery schedule.
  • Update and report on project progress and take appropriate actions to ensure project progress is on schedule.
  • Work closely with team, clients and vendors to ensure project completion within schedule.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree or equivalent with ability to communicate well in Mandarin (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate with our counterparts from China.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, coordination, budget control; preferred candidates with property-related experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.
  • High level of initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
