The Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement - Assistant Manager / Senior Executive to manage procurement activities while supporting logistics and supply chain operations. This role involves sourcing, supplier management, cost optimization and process improvement across multiple subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute end-to-end procurement for direct and indirect categories.
  • Conduct RFQ/RFP processes, evaluate bids and negotiate contracts for best value.
  • Identify, evaluate add onboard supplier; manage relationships and monitor KPIs (Quality, Delivery, Cost).
  • Analyze costs, logistics and market trends to identify savings opportunities.
  • Manage contract lifecycle, creation, renewal and termination.
  • Support logistics and supply chain activities, including inventory management and distribution coordination.
  • Streamline and improve procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Track and report key procurement and supply chain metrics (savings, supplier performance, delivery, PO accuracy).
  • Resolve supplier disputes and performance issues.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
  • 7-10 years of progressive procurement experience (AM) or 5-8 years (Senior Executive), with logistics / supply chain exposure.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management and contract management skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient in MS Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles, logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Fluent in Mandarin for communication with China-based suppliers.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, results-driven and collaborative team player.
