Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Klang is seeking a Process Technician specializing in plastic injection moulding. The role involves operating and optimizing injection moulding machines, training staff, and ensuring product quality. Candidates should possess a Diploma or Associate Degree in Plastic Technology, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of injection moulding processes and good problem-solving skills are essential. The company offers a full-time position with a salary range of RM2,800 – RM4,200 per month, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Set up injection moulding machines, mould, and perform material changeovers.
  • Adjust process parameters to optimize output and minimize defects.
  • Ensure raw material control, traceability, and prevent contamination.
  • Conduct mould trials and verify parts meet customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and perform regular machine checks.
  • Supervise and train machine operators to follow proper procedures.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices on the production floor.
  • Comply with safety regulations and ISO 9001/14001 requirements.
  • Report maintenance issues and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Associate Degree in Plastic Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in plastic injection moulding.
  • Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machine functions.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
