Job description

Responsibilities

• Monthly reports of all outstanding project status.
• Manage and coordinate all projects as per approved schedule.
• Update projects undertaken including objective, costs and evaluation result as and when necessary.
• Meet KPI as per targeted.
• Initiate QRF Costing Worksheet including customer drawing review, new material specification study, layout orientation design optimization, material yield calculation, process development & cycle time control and machine/tooling selection.
• Support frontline sales team in addressing and fulfilling customers’ requirements.
• Evaluate and conduct testing for process optimization which includes cycle time & cost analysis in process efficiency enhancement and material waste reduction which directly impacts costs.
• Enhance machine and process capability to increase throughput efficiency.
• Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM) on new project/part to access capability of manufacturing process.
• Assist in developing tailored solutions for specific requirements in new product development.
• Collaborate with QA in root cause analysis and provide corrective action towards quality issues.

Qualifications

• 2-3 Years Experience Technical Work in Manufacturing Environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
• PMP Certification.
• Experience in using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
• Ability to interpret technical drawing.
• Proposal preparation of improvement/automation projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Multitask.
• Good Communication and Teamwork.
