Overview

As a Process Engineer at HFC Tech Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for analysing, improving, and maintaining manufacturing processes to achieve operational excellence. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on process optimisation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, efficiency, and compliance.

What you'll be doing
  • Analyse and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement new processes, tools, and systems to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Conduct time studies, process simulations, and root cause analyses.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor and control process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Train production staff on new processes and equipment. Prepare technical reports and present findings to management.
What we're looking for
  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in process engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Fluent in Mandarin, English and Malay for effective communication with diverse stakeholders and executives.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
