A manufacturing company located in Johor is seeking a detail-oriented Process Engineer to enhance production operations. We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Process Engineer to optimize and enhance our manufacturing and production operations. The ideal candidate will analyze current processes, design and implement improvements, and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role requires strong collaboration across departments and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Analyze existing production and manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Conduct time studies, root cause analyses, and process audits.
Design, test, and implement new processes, equipment, and technologies to improve productivity and quality.
Lead pilot runs and scale-up activities for new processes.
Develop and maintain process documentation including flowcharts, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and technical reports.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Monitor process performance using data analysis, statistical tools, and modeling software.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure seamless process integration.
Participate in cross-functional meetings and project teams.
Ensure all processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Support audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Investigate and resolve process-related issues promptly.
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Train operators and technicians on new or revised processes and equipment.
Develop training materials and conduct workshops.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Proficiency in process modeling tools, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA, EPA).
Strong project management capabilities, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel or Power BI.
Experience with statistical analysis and performance metrics tracking.
Ability to manage cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and process automation.
