We are seeking a diligent and experienced Plant Engineer to join our team. As a Plant Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Project Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our plant. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work closely with our plant teams to maximise productivity and minimise downtime.
Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, cranes, and control system issues.
Conduct regular inspections and root-cause analyses for equipment failures.
Oversee installation and commissioning of new equipment (e.g., construction machinery, cranes & M&E systems).
Coordinate with contractors / vendors for equipment procurement, installation, testing and repairs.
Assist the Project Manager to monitor plant performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and lower costs.
Liaise with operations teams to ensure maintenance activities align with project / construction schedules.
Ensure energy efficiency, safety standards, and regulatory compliance are maintained.
Implement and enforce safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe work practices.
Any other duty and responsibilities assigned by the Management.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Plant Engineer or in a similar mechanical engineering role within the Construction industry
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong knowledge of plant operations, maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and manuals
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to stakeholders
Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
