Role Overview

Lead and oversee the full spectrum of plant operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable production of high-quality food products. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, cost efficiencies, regulatory compliance, and organisational capability while upholding the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the plant to achieve high levels of productivity, efficiency, and output quality.
  • Manage plant financial performance, including budgeting, cost management, and delivery of profitability targets.
  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and automation to strengthen operational capability and competitiveness.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, food safety expectations, and relevant standards (e.g. HACCP, ISO, GMP).
  • Foster strong cross‑functional collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and other supporting functions.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the plant workforce to build high-performance teams and a strong safety culture.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, certification authorities, and external partners.
  • Anticipate market trends, operational risks, and capacity constraints; implement timely solutions and cost-effective improvements.
  • Undertake any other tasks, duties, or special assignments as directed by Management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
  • At least 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing operations; experience in food processing or FMCG is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated capability in leading large‑scale, high‑volume production operations.
  • Strong leadership qualities with proven ability to influence, manage, and develop people at all levels.
  • In‑depth knowledge of HACCP, ISO, GMP, and food safety management systems and regulations.
  • Strong financial literacy with experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational P&L.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Integrity‑driven, resilient, and adaptable to fast‑paced, dynamic business environments.
