Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Pickleball Manager to oversee the daily operations, programs, and community engagement of our pickleball facility. The ideal candidate is passionate about the sport, customer-focused, and capable of managing events, staff, and facility usage to create an exceptional experience for all players.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
  • Oversee daily facility operations, court bookings, maintenance scheduling, and equipment management.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well‑organized pickleball environment.
  • Monitor attendance, usage patterns, and provide regular reports to management.
2. Program & Event Coordination
  • Develop and manage pickleball programs such as leagues, clinics, coaching sessions, and beginner workshops.
  • Plan and execute tournaments, social events, and community activities.
  • Collaborate with coaches and trainers to ensure high‑quality programming.
3. Customer Experience
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and players.
  • Handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain positive relationships with participants.
  • Promote programs, memberships, and upcoming events.
4. Staff Management
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise coaching staff, referees, and facility assistants.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and ensure staff comply with safety and service standards.
5. Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Work with marketing teams to promote pickleball programs through social media, newsletters, and community outreach.
  • Build partnerships with local schools, organizations, and sports communities.
  • Represent the facility at community events and pickleball‑related activities.
6. Financial & Administrative Tasks
  • Assist with budgeting, program pricing, and revenue tracking.
  • Manage inventory and place orders for equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain records related to memberships, attendance, and events.
Qualifications
  • Experience in sports management, recreation management, coaching, or facility operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of pickleball rules, trends, and best practices (or willingness to learn).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event schedules when needed.
  • Proficient in spoken and written Malay, English (Mandarin advantage)
