Qualifications

  • Conduct physiotherapy sessions as per roster.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide necessary reports.
  • Guide junior team members and participate in training.
Job description

1) To conduct physiotherapy sessions according to the monthly roster.

2) Work closely with the Senior Physiotherapist to demonstrate the advanced clinical skills, guide and coach other team members in general physiotherapy, Neurology Physiotherapy, and spine and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

3) Work closely with Senior Physiotherapist in career growth planning and motivate team members.

4) To monitor the progress of patient treated, provide counselling and instructions for follow-up treatment.

5) Maintaining the accuracy, comprehensive and timely record patient’s progress notes for in-patients and out-patients.

6) To provide relevant reports to consultants in-charge on progress of patients.

7) To ensure every patient treated is charged.

8) To establish and maintain good rapport and working relationships with all medical users, staff members of all discipline and patients.

9) To participate in staff training programmes and training courses for other groups of staff and patients.

10) To keep professionally up-to-date with current research, trends and techniques.

11) To maintain all necessary statistics and records pertaining to the department and to report the same in a timely manner.

12) To ensure all equipment is safely and regularly maintained and appropriate records are retained in the department.

13) Assist to promote the departmental services to patients or public which initiated by the marketing team from time to time.

14) To supervise and provide guidance to the Physiotherapy Assistant and Hospital Aide where available.

15) To comply with professional codes of practices, developmental and trust policies procedures and guidelines including health and safety requirements.

16) To be responsible to be engaged in the Department and Hospital quality indicators

17) To perform additional duties and assignments as required from time to time.
