Job description

Ain Medicare Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Pharmacist (Logistics) to join our rapidly growing company. This full-time position is based in Kulim, Kedah and will play a crucial role in our warehousing, storage and distribution operations within the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

Inventory & Storage Management: Overseeing the receiving, dispatch, and stacking of medical devices and pharmaceutical commodities. This includes monitoring temperature-controlled environments (cold chain if related) and humidity levels to prevent drug or product degradation.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all operations adhere to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). They also manage documentation for controlled drugs and regulatory permits.

Supply Chain Optimization: Tracking shipment status, managing shortages, and coordinating with manufacturers and distributors to ensure timely delivery.

Quality Assurance: Conducting regular audits, physical inventory counts, and spot checks to identify discrepancies. They also lead the processing of product recalls and the destruction of expired or damaged stock.

Waste Management: Properly segregating and disposing of pharmaceutical and hazardous waste in accordance with environmental standards.

Documentation: Preparing, reviewing, and approving essential documents like batch records, Master Formulas, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

What we're looking for

Degree in Pharmacy or a related field and valid license to practice as a Pharmacist

Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical logistics or supply chain role, preferably within the Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical storage and distribution requirements, including temperature-controlled transport

Proficient in inventory management systems and data analysis to optimise supply chain operations

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle various logistical challenges

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
