A leading real estate firm in Malaysia is seeking a Social Media Content Executive to capture engaging content and curate it for various platforms. The ideal candidate should be proficient in English and Mandarin, experienced in video/photo capturing, and possess basic editing skills with tools like CapCut and Canva. Responsibilities include planning social media posts, tracking engagement metrics, and assisting in branding activities. A genuine interest in lifestyle and branding is essential for succeeding in this role.
Follow the CMO/CEO for external meetings, events, and activities to capture video clips, photos, and behind-the-scenes content.
Understand brand messaging, positioning, tone, and storytelling for leadership branding.
Curate content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Xiaohongshu.
Produce short‑form and lifestyle‑style videos (Reels/TikTok/Xiaohongshu style).
Edit using apps/tools like CapCut, VN, Canva, or equivalent.
Draft captions, scripts, content sequencing, and storytelling angles in English and Mandarin.
Plan and schedule posts across different platforms.
Track engagement and performance metrics.
Monitor DMs, comments, and public sentiment professionally.
Propose creative ideas aligned with current social media & industry trends.
Assist in coordinating schedules, logistics, appointments, and event preparations involving branding activities.
Help organize files, content libraries, and digital assets for reporting and posting.
Support communication and liaising with internal teams, photographers, and external parties.
Assist with visual presentation (e.g., wardrobe coordination, shoot aesthetics, props, environment).
Maintain consistent brand aesthetic and personal branding identity across all content.
Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken & written).
Strong interest in lifestyle, leadership, fashion/styling, or personal branding content.
Experience with video/photo capturing using phone or camera.
Basic editing experience using CapCut / VN / Canva (or similar).
Strong awareness of social media trends, especially TikTok, Reels, Xiaohongshu, LinkedIn.
High initiative, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work independently.
Comfortable attending external events, moving around, shooting content, and interacting with people.
Professional, confidential, well‑presented, and quick in adapting to changes.
Preferably has past experience in content creation, social media, PR, branding, or executive support (not mandatory but an advantage).
