Responsibilities
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Handling of employees’ master data and time management for Japan
- To ensure of Employees’ Personnel Master and Time related data are updated accurately for payroll processing
- To generate and process weekly, monthly, ad-hoc Employees Master data and Time management related reports
- To assist department coordinator/recruiter/Site HR with day-to-day Employees Master data & Time management related responsibility
- To ensure filing system accurately for audit compliance
- Perform system testing for system configuration change, upgrade or legal change
Knowledge / Skills / Competencies
- Significant knowledge of government legislation impacting the practice of human resources management.
- Significant knowledge of company HR policies and practices, labor movement, arbitration proceedings.
- Able to communicate and write in Japanese is required as the applicants will deal for Japan's stakeholders or employees
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers.
- Ability to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
- Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in SAP is an added advantage.
Typical Experience
- Zero to two years’ relevant experience.
Typical Education
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Educational requirements may vary by geography.
