Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching & Learning

  • Undertake teaching and teaching related duties such as design, preparation and development of teaching materials; conduct classes/lectures, tutorials and practicals; consultation with students, invigilation, marking and assessment
  • Establish and maintain high standards of teaching and effective learning to meet the College's teaching and learning expectations

Administration and Other Activities

  • Participate in administrative activities related to teaching & learning, and examination-related matters
  • Contribute to student enrichment activities and school committees as and when required
REQUIREMENTS
  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Education / TESL / English Language Studies, Literature, or a minor in English, or equivalent from a recognised university. Master's degree and PhD applicants are preferred.
  • Experience working in the higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high quality of presentation skills
  • Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning. Able to use software blended in the teaching is preferred.
