Job Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting suitable eyewear frames based on preferences and lifestyle needs
• Provide expert advice on lens types, coatings, and optical product options
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout the eyewear selection and fitting process
• Accurately interpret optical prescriptions and assist in recommending appropriate lenses
• Collaborate with the Optometrist to address specific vision needs of customers
• Conduct precise measurements and adjustments to ensure optimal frame fitting and comfort
• Dispense prescription lenses and educate customers on usage, care, and maintenance
• Manage eyewear orders, including placing, tracking, and inventory restocking
• Maintain accurate records of optical products and ensure timely fulfillment
• Work collaboratively with team members and Optometrists to ensure seamless service delivery
• Ensure quality assurance and accuracy of all eyewear dispensed
• Address and resolve customer feedback or concerns related to eyewear

Job Requirements

• Registered Optician with valid certification
• Proven experience working in an optical or retail eye care environment
• Proficient in interpreting optical prescriptions and product specifications
• Strong knowledge of lens options, frame materials, and optical accessories
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong fitting and measurement capabilities
• Familiarity with optical tools, machines, and dispensing techniques
