Are you ready to support safe, reliable and efficient offshore production operations in a dynamic upstream environment?

TotalEnergies EP Malaysia is seeking an Operations Engineer to join our Field Operations team. This key role provides essential support to daily production activities, operational planning, and coordination between offshore and onshore stakeholders.

Your Impact

As an Operations Engineer, you will:

• Support offshore production teams in daily operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, inspections and shutdown planning to ensure safe and efficient hydrocarbon production.
• Ensure operational data is collected, compiled and administered in accordance with the Company's Data Management system, including updates to CMMS and SAP.
• Coordinate and monitor offshore logistics needs such as vessels, diesel and water supply, manpower supply, catering, maintenance contracts and spare parts management.
• Interface closely with internal teams (Subsurface, Drilling & Wells, Procurement) to ensure operability and compliance with current and future regulations.
• Engage with external stakeholders including PETRONAS, MPM, JV Partners and other operators when required to support operational activities.
• Prepare and deliver operational reports, presentations and updates including production, maintenance, shutdown and failure analysis.
• Monitor and update the annual Work Plan & Budget (WP&B).

Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Certificate in Engineering, Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years (Degree) or 5 years (Professional Certificate) of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret operational and production data.
• Solid understanding of HSSE regulations and oil & gas processing systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and operational software (SAP, CMMS, PI Vision, DCS).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• French language proficiency is an added advantage.
