Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of operations experience in stockbroking or similar.
  • Experience in Malaysian capital market and Bursa Malaysia clearing.
  • Willing to work in shift rotation including public holidays.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily settlement functions for both local and global markets, focusing on equities, futures, and other financial products.
  • Ensure timely submission of client subscriptions for corporate actions to the Share Registrar/Custodian before deadlines.
  • Liaise with Share Registrar/Registered Office on corporate action matters.
  • Stay updated on Bursa Malaysia and foreign (US, HK, SG) market announcements regarding corporate actions and update relevant information.
  • Reconcile, process, and verify dividends, interests, distributions, and corporate events.
  • Follow up on share transfers pre-matching with relevant parties.
  • Maintain efficient operations controls in the settlement area through technology and systems.
  • Conduct system UAT testing, initiate change requests, and oversee system updates.
  • Prepare and submit timely regulatory reports to Regulatory parties.
  • Perform other assigned ad-hoc duties/projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting and/or related disciplines.
  • At least 1-2 years of operations experience in stockbroking industry, custodian services or financial institution. Less experienced candidate with sufficient level of related knowledge is welcome to apply.
  • Experience in Malaysian capital market, Bursa Malaysia clearing & settlement and CDS process and custody services are preferable. Relevant experience in foreign market will be an added advantage.
  • Willing to work in shift rotation (day/night shift) including public holidays. 5 working days per week.
  • Language proficiency in English, Malay is a must, while Chinese is preferrable.
  • Securities Commission (SC) Malaysia’s “Capital Markets Services Representative's License” (CMSRL) registered person/holder will be a strong advantage. Other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
  • Independent, self‑motivated, and quick learning team player with strong time management skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure, meticulous and detail‑oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Passion and constantly seek improvement in work.
