Job description

We are seeking an experienced Operation Manager to lead and manage the entire operation teams.

Location: Senai

Industry: Plastic Injection Moulding

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities to meet company goals and customer expectations.
• Liaise with customers on product requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate internal resources to achieve on-time delivery while managing operating costs.
• Plan, organize, and manage production schedules, budgets, manpower, and equipment resources.
• Lead implementation and maintenance of the ISO14001 Environmental Management System.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Manage setup and release of new equipment into production.
• Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment utilization for smooth and efficient operations.
• Improve process capabilities and drive continuous improvements in productivity, cost, and quality.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and support new business opportunities.
• Ensure machines, equipment, and mould tools are properly maintained.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to achieve high product quality and on-time output.
• Ensure production compliance with local regulations, procedures, and company policies.
• Oversee factory safety, discipline, and workplace cleanliness.
• Act as key communication channel for customer issues and manage customer satisfaction.
• Manage tooling, moulding, production, engineering/facility, and logistics departments.
• Approve MRB forms, COC shipments, and personnel decisions (hiring/termination).

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• At least 10 years’ working experience with strong operational and people management skills.
• Proven experience in production, moulding, tooling, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing multiple departments.
• Knowledge of ISO management systems, especially ISO14001 (ISO9001/ISO13485 is an advantage).
