At least 1–2 years of relevant working experience in logistics, transportation, or forwarding industry
Good knowledge of logistics operations, transportation processes, and documentation
Experience in international freight forwarding (import/export) is an added advantage
Familiar with shipping documents such as Bill of Lading (BL), Delivery Order (DO), Invoice, and Packing List
Knowledge of customs clearance procedures and documentation
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Freight Forwarding Operations
- Coordinate and manage end-to-end freight forwarding activities for import and export shipments.
- Arrange and monitor shipments via air, sea, and land transportation.
- Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, warehouses, and overseas agents to ensure smooth cargo movement.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, Delivery Order, Invoice, Packing List, and other related documents.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, port authority requirements, and relevant statutory bodies.
Transportation & Delivery Management
- Plan, arrange, and coordinate local transportation, including trucking and delivery schedules.
- Monitor transportation status to ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo.
- Handle transportation issues such as delays, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with drivers and transport vendors to ensure efficient operations.
Customs & Regulatory Coordination
- Liaise with customs brokers and authorities for customs clearance matters.
- Ensure accurate documentation and declarations to avoid delays or penalties.
- Support inspection, examination, and clearance processes when required.
Customer Service & Coordination
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding shipment status and operational matters.
- Provide timely updates, shipment tracking, and problem resolution.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and operational issues professionally.
Costing & Documentation Control
- Verify operational costs, transport charges, and forwarding-related expenses.
- Assist in job costing, billing accuracy, and supporting documents for invoicing.
- Maintain proper records of shipments, documentation, and operational files.
Operational Reporting & Compliance
- Update internal systems with shipment and operational data accurately.
- Prepare operational reports as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and operational guidelines.
General & Ad-Hoc Duties
- Support management in operational planning and process improvement.
- Perform other duties related to forwarding and transportation operations as assigned.
