Job summary

A leading aviation services company is seeking an NND Officer Import Release in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves monitoring the Import Release process, ensuring all undelivered cargo are handled appropriately, and liaising with various authorities for clearance. Candidates should possess a minimum of SPM or higher qualification and have at least 5 years of experience in Cargo Operations. Knowledge in cargo handling and IATA regulations is essential. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Cargo Operations Field required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the Import Release process as per requirements.
• Advise agents/consignees to collect cargo.
• Attend to enquiries by agent on mishandled cargo.
• Submit monthly statistics report and compile daily delivery orders.
• Liaise with MAHB and Government Agencies for disposal of unclaimed shipments.

Job Title

NND Officer Import Release

Reports To

Acting Assistant Manager, Import & Landside

Role Purpose

To monitor and support the Import Release process / activities as per requirement and service standard. To ensure all undelivered cargo are notified and confirm to agent for clearance. To ensure unclaimed cargo are handover to KLIA FCZ authority with complete documentation.

Key Responsibility

• Advise agent/consignee to collect the cargo of cases that left behind.
• Attend to enquiries by agent on mishandle cargo.
• Submit monthly statistics report. To compile daily delivery order accordingly.
• Notified agent and consignee for clearance of the cargo and MAHB accordingly.
• Liaise with MAHB and other Government Agencies for the disposal of unclaimed shipment.
• To be witness on behalf of the company during disposing cargo activity with MAB authority at their warehouse.

Qualification & Experience

• SPM or higher tertiary qualification with5 years in Cargo Operations Field

Areas of Experience

• Knowledge in Cargo Handling and IATA Regulations
• Knowledge in LMS System / CWIS System
• Be able to establish effective working relationship with many different people from various levels in the organization.

Personality Traits

• Pleasant with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent and proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
