Job summary

A leading technology company in Johor is seeking a motivated O&M Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in electrical or mechanical systems maintenance. This role involves supporting the design, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical infrastructure, focusing on ensuring high availability and performance of data center systems. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a solid understanding of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in operations and maintenance, preferably in data centers or critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor system performance and report anomalies.
• Support senior engineers in preparing SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.
• Contribute to small-scale infrastructure upgrades and installations.

Skills

Basic understanding of electrical systems (HV/MV/LV), HVAC, and UPS

Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools

Good communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
