NPI Engineer (Cable Assembly & Harnessing)

Extensive & Good Knowledge in Cable Harnessing, Cable Bundling and Cable Assembly.

Hands‑On in making (FA) First Article or Samples before Mass Production . (Cable Harness).

New Project Management, Handle PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), DFM, FMEA in product process improvement.

Good Knowledge in Reviewing Customer Technical Drawings, Bill of Materials Specification (BOM), Knowledge in Autocad software.

Hands‑On Practical Approach from Preparation of Test Jigs and Fixtures. Cable Sub‑Assembly & Cable Integration.

Understand and setting up BOM into the system and Manage Material Changes by Customer, Managing Engineering Changes, ECN and recommend implementation.

Liaise with Customer and Internal Department on Product related issues; Project status, Engineering changes, Jig and Fixtures Design, Process capability, and others.

Effectively Plan & Drive New Project Plan from the Initial Stage to Mass Production; Including Resources Requirements, Sample Timeline, Tools and Jigs needed for Samples Preparation, Production Floor Space planning.

Drive Effective Sample Shipment or Sample Submission, With all Customer Quality and Reliability Requirements Fulfilled.

Ensure quality system and all process documents are in place to meet customer audit and mass production requirements.

Requirement & Qualification:

At least 5 years experience in Executing NPI Planning in a Production Manufacturing Environment.

Diploma, Degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized university or equivalent.

Proficiency in Electrical Engineering Techniques & Principles.

Ability to manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, Prioritize tasks, and Meet Deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for effectively communicating with cross‑functional teams.

Capability to identify technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.

Electronics Manufacturing will be desired.
