We are seeking an experienced NPD Chemist to join our team at OTC Cosmetic Industries Sdn Bhd in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. As a full-time NPD Chemist, you will play a crucial role in developing and improving our range of personal care and skincare products. Your work will be instrumental in driving innovation and ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting research and development activities to create new cosmetic and skincare formulations
• Optimizing existing product formulations to enhance performance, stability, and user experience
• New project development from concept, formula, packaging until mass production within the given timeline
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and manufacturing, to bring new products to market
• Propose new concepts to customer, staying up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the cosmetics industry
• Documenting research findings, test results, and other relevant data in a clear and organized manner

What we're looking for

• Degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a similar R & D role within the cosmetics or personal care industry
• Proven track record in developing and optimizing personal care and skincare formulations
• Good presentation skills, excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and coordinating skills across different departments
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Keen interest in staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulations
