Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Penang is seeking a candidate to assist in new product pre-production and mass production transfer. Responsibilities include ensuring production issue closure, supporting quality improvement plans, and training factory personnel on new production conditions. Ideal candidates hold a relevant Bachelor's degree, have strong interpersonal skills, and can communicate in Mandarin. This role is open to fresh graduates and those with a year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree relevant to Engineering, Chemical or Industrial Technology.
• Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing preferred, fresh graduates welcome.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist in new product/process pre-production and transition to mass production.
• Ensure closure of outstanding production issues post product transfer.

Job description

Assist in the new product / process pre-production and transfer to the mass production phase.

Ensure closure of outstanding production issues after new product transfer is completed.

Support quality improvement plan related to process and product design changes.

Coordinate and communicate with RD and factory about new product technology, knowhow, product specification and related information.

Train factory personnel on new product production conditions and knowledge.

Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that the contact lenses meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Identify opportunities for process improvements in contact lens manufacturing to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMEMTS

• Bachelor Degree in any field relevant to Engineering, Chemical and Industrial Technology
• Prefer with minimum 1 year working experience in manufacturing industry
• Fresh graduate are welcome for this position
• Good interpersonal & communication skill with positive working attitude
• Manage to work in a team in executing projects & strive for excellent
• Candidates fluent in mandarin is preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients
