Job description

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, working closely with senior engineers.
• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and load balancers.
• Assist in the implementation and management of network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Support the planning, construction, and management of LAN/WAN/VPN and wireless networks in manufacturing and office environments.
• Implement hardware/software changes to enhance network performance, stability, and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot network issues involving BGP, OSPF, VLAN, Spanning Tree Protocol, WAN, wireless, and hardware/software components.
• Participate in IT projects, system upgrades, and scheduled maintenance activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay is required. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin.
• Familiar with switches, routers, hardware/software firewalls, and TCP/IP principles; candidates with HCIP, CCNP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems; experienced in setting up Web, FTP, and Mail servers, with solid system administration skills.
• Strong knowledge in LAN/WAN maintenance and network security; familiar with installation, usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware/software, as well as network and server configuration.
• Familiar with common network management tools, with strong ability in network fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and security management; strong security awareness, with knowledge of security system architecture and implementation.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills; able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
