A leading food company in Malaysia is seeking a qualified professional to oversee quality control and laboratory operations. As a Registered Food Analyst, you will ensure compliance with ISO17025 standards, perform microbiological testing, and supervise lab analysts. The ideal candidate holds a degree in a related science field and has at least 2 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in the FMCG sector. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability are essential for success in this role. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
Act as the approved signatory and Registered Food Analyst, ensuring all ISO17025 technical and quality requirements are implemented and maintained.
Review and sign COA test reports with required opinions and interpretations.
Perform sampling, microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and ensure accurate, timely reporting in SAP for product release.
Oversee quality control checks, method development, method validation, and calibration/maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Supervise lab analysts, provide training, schedule laboratory work, and manage lab inventory, supplies, and budget.
Participate in PT programs and lead process improvements, CAPAs, quality objectives, and RCA investigations.
Support GMP, GLP, FSSC22000, and ISO14001 audits.
Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Science/Technology, or a related science field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, preferably in an FMCG environment.
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skilled in method validation and measurement uncertainty (MU) calculations, with understanding of ISO17025 requirements.
Registered Food Analyst under the Malaysian Food Analyst Council is an added advantage.
