A leading Malaysian government bank is seeking a Head, Micro Finance Regional to drive business strategies and oversee daily operations related to micro finance. The ideal candidate will manage credit risks, execute business outreach for strategic partnerships, and support the branch and staff during transitions. This position aims to enhance business opportunities while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining operational quality.

To assist Head, Micro Finance Regional in driving the micro finance in regional level to achieve large volumes while managing the credit risk and oversee daily operation of the branch’ MFO/MFA to meet the micro finance business target in aspect of asset growth and quality.
To execute business outreach and engagement to collaborate on productive alliances with the relevant agencies. Processing papers on potential collaboration with agencies and credit processing for financing as per required in supporting the branch activities.
Relief Officer to support Branch for long absence MFO’s such as on Maternity Leave or any long permitted long leave.
Assisting HMFR in planning the micro finance business plan and target by regional and branch basis.
Implement the approved business plan to achieve the target set.
To support branch’ MFO/MFA on the technical issues.
As advisory (referral center) for all branch’ MFO/MFA.
Supporting branch in terms of prospecting and business opportunity with agencies and relevant company with productive collaboration.
Widen business opportunity areas for branch’ MFO/MFA.
To carry out the duty of branch’s MFO in the case of absence (long leave/block leave/maternity leave) especially to the branch which implementing Agro TERAS business actively.
This to ensure the business ran smoothly especially on the collection and weekly meeting.
Ensuring the high competency level of all MFO & MFA.
Timely to advise all MFO & MFA on the credit quality level early warning signal.
Ensuring the adherence on the latest financing facilities policies.
Nurture compliance & risk culture and awareness to all commercial business unit at Regional Offices and Branches.
Comply with all relevant activities stated in any Operation Manuals.
Comply with all internal controls and established policies and procedures e.g., Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act (AMLATFA), Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and BNM Standard Guidelines.
