Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MES applications.

• Participate in testing and validation of new MES features.

Job Description

To support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in a fast-paced production environment. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in the fields of manufacturing IT and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Production, IT, and Engineering, to ensure smooth MES operations and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MES applications and related systems.
• Provide support to system users in troubleshooting issues.
• Work with IT and manufacturing teams to ensure integration between MES, ERP, SCADA, warehouse system, AGVs, and production floor machines & equipment.
• Support MES system configuration, user access management, and process improvements.
• Participate in testing and validation of new MES features and in-house developed programs before deployment.
• Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for MES support and training.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by immediate superior.

Qualifications

• Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Year of Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in MES, manufacturing systems, or industrial automation.
• Skill(s): Proficiency in both spoken and written English; ability to communicate in Japanese is an advantage.
• Knowledge(s):
  • Experience or knowledge of XML, SQL databases, Java, or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Experience or knowledge of MES in the medical industry will be an advantage.
• Language: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
