Job summary

Job description
Merchandising Manager ( Retails Industry )

Prepare and submit sales forecast/budget by store by financial year and buying seasonality, as well as seasonal Pre-OTB and OTB.

Planning a purchasing budget based on planned revenue goals, optimal stock cover.

Adjust the seasonal budget and OTB to correspond to the actual/historical sales performance of the assigned brands.

Deliver consumer, channel, space and price appropriate product assortments, without compromising the season’s key highlights.

Define positioning product/price architecture to reflect brand positioning and market demand, within approved margin policy.

Aware and keep abreast on competition activities, assortments and pricing in order to apply commercial knowledge/information when executing buys.

Maintain good relationship and work closely with Merchandising Manager and brand principal .

Preparing of monthly and quarterly buying forecast reports , maximize turnover through timely commercial sales planning and forecasting.

To be responsible for all the brands' stock inventory under your care.

To plan , strategize and expand the business of each brand to be profitable .

To undertake additional / any other assignments or duties as when required by top management .

Requirement / Skills : -

  • At least Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant fields.
  • 3-5 years experience in Merchandising Planning and Brand/Product Management / Buying
  • Strong analytical skills, proactive and able to work independently.
  • Meticulous, organized, able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Good command of spoken and written skills in English , Mandarin will be added value .
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and proficiency in using Microsoft Power Point.
  • Preferable experience from retails industry on Footwear or Apparel Industry.
